Tonight's Dinner: December 9, 2012

Nick had another shooting match and I had the grand idea that I'd park at the bottom of the very steep hill to  the range and run up it.  What. A. Mistake.  My butt and hips hurt so much the next day that I had to switch out my yoga ball for a regular office chair at work.  After going to the range, which is in the middle of the very long hill, I ran two more telephone posts up before heading back down.  Ah, down is so much easier than up.

We had planned to take our family Christmas picture in the evening and also to have a crab feed for dinner with my family.  I headed to Costco and picked up a pack of prawns to go along with the crab.  Little did I know that I would end up back there later on in the day.  After lunch, my Mom and I headed to Ranch 99 to get live crabs but there were none to be had.  Nor at Seafood City.  Back to Costco I went to get the precooked leg and body packages.  All that running around had me tired, but luckily, the crab was easy to prepare.  I just threw the parts into boiling water to reheat and kill off any microbes that might be lingering.  Not too surprisingly, we finished almost all of the food.

This is how Emmy looks in our Christmas photo also.  Poor
girl looks like a white blob of a sausage because of the angle
she's at.  She really isn't this fat looking.

As happy as she looks, she really hates these antlers.
