It took a long time to get our food because it was packed, but it was really good. We usually go to Nations or Pho to get in and out, but it's nice to be able to sit around and talk before we eat every once in a while. As I get older and Nick and I are thinking more about the prospects of having children, I appreciate the closeness of my family more. Plus, these may be the times I look fondly back on when I have a kid and (s)he is screaming in the highchair.

Today's Lunch: May 5, 2013
Nick was at a shooting match so I called up my family to see if they wanted to go out for lunch. We decided to try something new. I had gone to Min's Kitchen with the girls a few months back and suggested that we try it. Apparently my parents had already gone for Valentine's Day because my Mom thought that it was a Chinese restaurant. Turns out that it is an American-style diner.
