Tonight's Dinner: November 12, 2012

Tonight I went with Genna and Madeline to see a performance by a Youtuber that we all like at The Bottom of the Hill in the City.  I am getting old.  The days of feeling my chest vibrate and eardrums on the verge of popping are over.  There were so many teeny boppers that we just flat out stared at.  I know I was thinking, really?  Was I like that?  The worst part is that I know that I was.  We stood in the back like three unamused school teachers.  Genna, holding her tummy because she was afraid it was so loud that it would hurt the baby's ears,  Madeline with a glazed look on her face, and me with my arms crossed.  Not to mention, Tyler Ward, the Youtuber we went to go see, looks much younger in person than he does on Youtube.  He was the headliner and played last.  None of the other performers were nearly as loud and it was getting late.  He was playing a lot of his originals, which were good, but we know him as a cover artist.  We left after about six songs.  As we were walking to the car Genna said, "I feel like I'm deaf."  Madeline appropriately responded with, "huh?".

For dinner we had lovely, greasy bar food that was overly salty and made me sorely miss The Ruck's awesome Wing Burgers and mozzarella sticks.
